Publisher Paradox Interactive for the third time postponed the release of the ambitious life simulator Life by You from the author of the best parts of The Sims

Ambitious life simulator Life by You from the author of The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 Rod Humble was supposed to be released first in September 2023, later it was postponed to 4 June 2024, but even this date was not final.

Here's What We Know

Publisher Paradox Interactive announced the third postponement of the early release of Life by You, but this time the Swedish company did not announce a new release date, limiting itself to the wording "as soon as possible".

It was not an easy decision, especially as we realise how much anticipation and excitement many people have for the game. However, we need additional development time. Although we would have preferred to set a new release date, we believe that it is wiser to delay planning than to set a new date that we can't be sure of.

Let us remind you that the developers promise that in Life by You the players will be able to implement any of the invented scenarios, in this they will be helped by a flexible character editor and detailed simulation of each character's behaviour. All inhabitants of the city will have their own desires, dreams, habits, phobias, aspirations and needs.

Life by You in many ways resembles the famous The Sims series, but it will not repeat it verbatim.
