Apple is planning to release the upcoming fourth-generation iPhone SE model with Face ID for under $500, according to a Revegnus source at X. The new model, scheduled for the spring of 2025, will have a design similar to the standard iPhone 14 with Face ID instead of Touch ID and a notch on the display.

Additionally, the iPhone SE 4 may receive a 6.1-inch OLED display, different from the current 4.7-inch LCD display of the third-generation model. Probably, the new model will also receive a USB-C port and an action button. The cost of OLED panels for the iPhone SE 4 will be significantly lower due to the use of outdated components that are available in the iPhone 13 and 14 models.

According to The Information, the initial price of the model will remain at the level of the current generation, $429, or may increase by 10%, depending on certain conditions. Prices for the new model are expected to be affordable.

The third-generation iPhone SE was introduced in March 2022, and its successor is likely to find its fans among users looking for more affordable models with updated features.
