The first electric car from Audi and SAIC will appear on the Chinese market by 2025

Audi and SAIC have signed an agreement to jointly develop electric vehicles, the first of which will be launched in 2025.

Here's What We Know

This strategic partnership follows a memorandum of understanding signed in July 2023. However, they are now moving on to concrete arrangements to jointly produce high-end electric vehicles for the Chinese market.

SAIC believes that its smart and high-tech approach to electric vehicle development, as well as Audi's long-standing experience in premium car production, are a perfect match for developing high-end electric vehicles for the Chinese market. The first electric vehicle resulting from this partnership will be available in 2025.

This collaboration is also focused on creating an advanced digital platform that will combine the best software solutions with high-performance premium hardware.
