Leopard tanks, artillery shells and missiles for Patriot: Spain announces new aid package for the AFU

Following the Netherlands, Spain has also announced a new aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Here's What We Know

According to the Spanish Defence Ministry, the new aid package will include an additional batch of Leopard 2 tanks. They are to be delivered to Ukraine at the end of June.

In addition, Spain will also transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine 155-mm shells for artillery, missiles for Patriot surface-to-air missile systems, defence systems against drones, optical-electronic surveillance and tracking systems, as well as combat modules with remote control. Deliveries of these weapons will begin in the near future.
