BenQ launches W5800 4K projector with 2600 lumens and HDR-Pro in Europe
BenQ has announced a new projector on the European market.
Here's What We Know
We are talking about the model BenQ W5800. The device can already be pre-ordered in some European countries for €4999.
The novelty boasts a resolution of 4K UHD (3840×2160) and a picture with a diagonal of up to 200 inches. The projector uses a light source with a laser matrix and a brightness of 2600 lumens. The device boasts 100% DCI-P3 colour space coverage and HDR-Pro technology, which is responsible for brightness and accurate colour reproduction of the picture.
The W5800's optical system features a 14-element, 7-group all-glass lens that minimises colour differences and enhances image clarity. The projector's Local Contrast Enhancement (LCE) algorithm increases image depth by independently adjusting gamma in 1000+ zones.
For connectivity, the device has HDMI 2.0b, USB Type-A, SPDIF and eAR ports. The novelty also comes with a 7.1-channel audio system.
