Soundcore Boom 2 Plus: a wireless speaker with IPX7 protection, 140 watts of power and up to 20 hours of battery life for $250

Anker has announced the new Soundcore Boom 2 Plus wireless speaker.

The novelty is an updated version of Soundcore Boom 2. The model received protection from water and dirt IPX7, as well as autonomy up to 20 hours. The claimed charging time is 3 hours.

The device has a proprietary bass enhancement technology (BassUp 2.0). The total output power of the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus is 140 watts. For comparison, the regular model has a power output of 100 watts. The new speaker features a dual woofer, passive radiator and a number of tweeters. In addition, the speaker has built-in LED indicators that synchronise with the music. They can be adjusted using the Soundcore app. The novelty has a "powerbank" function.
