Sweden buys new batch of CV90 infantry fighting vehicles for Ukraine from BAE Systems
BAE Systems has been awarded a new contract to produce CV90 infantry fighting vehicles.

Information was shared by the press service of the manufacturer. New combat vehicles are bought by Sweden. The contract includes CV9035 MkIIIC with additional equipment for the Swedish army. In addition, the contract also provides for the purchase of a new batch of CV90 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. What modification the Ukrainian army will receive and when the deliveries will start is still unknown.
For those who do not know
CV90 is a Swedish infantry fighting vehicle, which was developed in 1984 by Hägglunds company (owned by British BAE Systems) by order of the Swedish Army. Production of the vehicle began in 1993. Since then, about 1,170 BMPs in different modifications have been produced. The AFU has 50 of these combat vehicles in service. They were transferred to Ukraine by Sweden.
