Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses can now share Stories on Instagram with a voice command

Meta has announced a new update for its innovative Ray-Ban smart glasses.

The update, among other benefits, allows direct posting of content to Instagram Stories without having to take the phone out of the pocket.

According to the company, the new voice commands called "Hey Meta" allow users to easily share images taken with the glasses on their Instagram Stories. By simply saying "Hey Meta, share my latest photo on Instagram", you can immediately post your photo without taking out your phone.

In addition, the glasses now integrate with Amazon Music. Just say "Hey Meta, play Amazon Music" and your favourite music will start playing. This update also allows you to stream music directly through the glasses, without having to pull out your phone.

The company also announced support for the Calm app and an offer of a free three-month subscription for users of the Meta View app.
