It hasn't taken off: Human, the company that developed the AI Pin, is looking for a buyer

Human, a company that specialises in the development of artificial intelligence hardware and was founded by Apple veterans, is reportedly looking for a buyer willing to pay $1bn for it. The news comes on the back of the failed launch of the company's first and only product, the AI Pin, a clothes pin with built-in artificial intelligence.

Here's What We Know

Theoretically, a gadget with cameras and sensors that will always be with you and will be able to answer any questions you may have sounds interesting and convenient, but the implementation of AI Pin was a "letdown": the device often overheated even on the hottest day, the pin could not answer even unimportant questions, the projection on the arm stretched out in front of you was also not the most convenient method of communication - all this, together with an hour of operation from a single battery charge, ensured the "successful failure" of AI Pin.

And, apparently, the developers themselves have recognised the failure, as they are already looking for a buyer just a month after the device's release. Only one thing is unclear: will someone dare to buy Human Inc. with one failed product for $1 billion? Only time will tell.
