Truecaller, a Swedish caller identification company, has created an AI-based tool that will allow users to create their own voice model that will answer calls for you.

In general, Truecaller is an iOS and Android application that helps to detect and block annoying spam calls. From now on, you can record your voice in the service, and artificial intelligence will generate an AI version of your voice based on the recorded segment, which will be used to answer calls - True Software Scandinavia uses Azure AI Speech for this purpose.

Truecaller Assistant identifies incoming calls, allowing users to answer them according to the caller's purpose. Introduced in 2022, it is available in some countries. Users can now personalise their experience by recording their own voice.

At the Build conference, Microsoft introduced Azure AI Speech with a personal voice feature that allows voice replication. To comply with ethical standards, the generated voices are watermarked, and a code of conduct requires user consent to recording and prohibits impersonation.
