Lenovo will release a sliding tablet with a Samsung display in 2025
Lenovo is set to launch a retractable Android tablet next year, several sources have confirmed. The tablet will feature a 13-inch retractable display from Samsung, which is expandable up to 17 inches. The Korean company first demonstrated this display technology in 2022.
Here's What We Know
One of Samsung's retractable displays could soon become a real product thanks to Lenovo. According to Patently Apple, the product will be a tablet and laptop hybrid. In its normal state, the device will have a 13-inch display and function like a tablet. But it will also be possible to extend the display to get a 17-inch screen and use the device as a laptop.

Interestingly, well-known whistleblower Ross Young, who has over 25 years of experience in the display industry, says that the device will have an 18.1-inch screen. It's unclear if this means it will come in two different sizes or if one of the sources is giving inaccurate information. Or perhaps Lenovo hasn't confirmed all the details yet. Either way, the tablet isn't coming anytime soon. It is still in the development stage.
