This is how it should be in all paid games: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will not have microtransactions
In addition to single-player and co-op campaigns, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will feature two multiplayer modes: the recently introduced Eternal War PvP mode and Operations PvE mode. Regardless of the chosen mode, there will be no microtransactions. This was confirmed by Focus Entertainment in the X account:

Just wanted to clarify:
- There are no micro transactions in #SpaceMarine2. No in-game cash shop.
- All gameplay content and features will be free to all players. Paid DLCs will be cosmetic only.
Here's What We Know
The Season Pass for Space Marine 2 has also been confirmed and will be included in the game's Gold, Ultra, and Collector's Editions. However, details about the pass remain limited.
Where To Play
The game will be available on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Windows.
When We Can Expect It
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be released on 9 September.
