Rumour: OnePlus Open 2 foldable smartphone will debut in early 2025 and get an updated hinge

OnePlus revealed its first foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open, in October 2023. Now a Digital Chat Station insider has revealed that the manufacturer is already developing the second generation of the device.

According to the leak, the novelty is not worth waiting for in the near future. If everything goes according to plan, the gadget is planned to show in the first quarter of 2025.

OnePlus Open 2, with a high probability, will be running a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. In addition, it is known that the smartphone will receive an updated hinge, as well as a thinner body (OnePlus Open has a thickness of 5.8 mm).

Most likely, the novelty will be a global version of the foldable smartphone OPPO Find N4 or OPPO Find N5.
