Redmi A3x: a budget device with Unisoc T603 processor, 90Hz display and 5000 mAh battery for just $70
Xiaomi has officially unveiled its new budget smartphone Redmi A3x.
Technical Characteristics
The smartphone both externally and in many characteristics inherits Redmi A3. The main difference lies in the processor: instead of MediaTek Helio G36 Redmi A3x is equipped with Unisoc T603. It is complemented by just 3GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, but it can be expanded with a MicroSD card.
On the front, it sports a 6.71-inch IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate and DC Dimming technology to reduce eye strain. The drop-shaped cutout houses a 5 MP front camera, while at the back there is a dual main camera with an 8 MP sensor and a secondary lens.
Other specs include Android 14 operating system, a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Here's What It Costs
The Redmi A3x costs $68 for the 3/64GB storage version. It's only available in Pakistan for now, but should be available in India and UAE soon. In what other countries the novelty will be sold - is still unknown.
