Google Photos AI editing tools now available on Galaxy phones

Google Photos is expanding its editing capabilities for Galaxy phone users. Now Samsung device owners can enjoy all the advanced AI tools that were previously only available for Pixel and Google One devices.

Here's What We Know

With tools such as Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Portrait Light, users will be able to create photos and videos that enhance their quality and look. These AI-powered editing tools have been available to all Google Photos users since 15 May 2024.

From now on, Galaxy smartphone and tablet owners will be able to not only store and organise their photos in Google Photos, but also edit them using advanced AI technologies. In addition, users of Samsung's One UI 6.1 can also take advantage of the photo and video editing tools available in Samsung's Gallery app.
