Prices for Samsung Galaxy F55 appeared on the eve of the presentation

Samsung planned to launch the Galaxy F55 in India on 17 May, but the presentation was postponed to 27 May. On the eve of the event, the company unveiled the key features of the mid-range phone.

Here's What We Know

According to information from tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Galaxy F55 in India will start at INR 26,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Other variants will also be available:

8GB RAM + 256GB storage: INR 29,999
12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage: INR 32,999

The phone has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and runs Android 14 with One UI 6.1.

The main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels and supports 4K video recording at 30 frames per second, with OIS. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging, is IP67 dust and water resistant, and supports GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and USB Type-C.

The Galaxy F55 also features stereo speakers and a faux leather back.

The Galaxy F55 will be unveiled on 27 May 2024.
