YouTube begins testing the ability to reply to messages in Superchats
Video platform YouTube has begun testing a new feature that will allow users to reply to messages in Superchats during live or premiere events. The feature is in the experimental testing phase and will only be available to a select group of users.
Here's What We Know
Superchats, introduced in 2017, allows viewers to highlight their chat messages to catch the attention of the author. Now, thanks to the innovation, when a user replies to a Superchat message, their reply will appear live and will be visible in the broadcast archive as part of the chat.
YouTube has confirmed that it plans to expand access to the new feature in the coming months, indicating that testing is nearing completion. This innovation will give content creators additional ways to engage with their audience.
