Last night, authoritative insider Dusk Golem denied rumours about the development of Resident Evil 1 and 5 remakes and stated that Resident Evil 9 will not be released in early 2025.
However, he shared some positive news: according to his information Capcom is developing remakes of Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica, which fans of the series have been asking for for a long time.
Resident Evil insights change so quickly that it's hard to know where the truth and fiction are, but in the situation with Dusk Golem his information was indirectly confirmed by another reputable journalist.
Here's What We Know
VGC editor-in-chief Andy Robinson commented on Dusk Golem's statement about Resident Evil Zero and Code Veronica:

The joke "remember this tweet" comes to mind, but Robinson is unlikely to risk his reputation and confirm fake information.
Meanwhile, Dusk Golem isn't sitting idle. He revealed which Capcom studios are working on the mentioned games.
Thus, Resident Evil Zero Remake is being created by K2 and M-Two, which participated in the development of Resident Evil 4 (2023) remake and worked on Separate Ways add-on for it.
