A gameplay trailer for Conscript, a notable retro horror game set in a World War I setting, has been unveiled

Team17 publishing house presented a gameplay trailer of the project, which will definitely interest fans of classic horror games.

Here's What We Know

The audience was shown the gameplay of Conscript - a game in the survival horror genre, which is reminiscent of the first projects of this genre in the early 90s.

Players can expect pixel graphics, fixed camera, non-obvious ways to achieve goals, difficult puzzles, complex fights with enemies, gloomy atmosphere and all this in the setting of the First World War.

The protagonist of Conscript will be a French soldier who is searching for his brother in the trenches, and as the basis for the story, the developer Jordan Mochi chose the famous Battle of Verdun in 1916.

Against the background of modern releases Conscript may look fresh thanks to its retro style and has all chances to become a hit among survival horror fans.

When We Can Expect It

Conscript is expected to be released in 2024 on all platforms.

A demo is available on Steam, which will be updated on 10 June.
