Google has announced the launch of the long-rumoured Playables option on the YouTube platform.
Here's What We Know
With Playables, users will be able to run games directly on YouTube video hosting without the need to download and install them.
For now, these will only be arcade entertainment such as Cut the Rope, Angry Birds Showdown, Words of Wonders, Tomb of the Mask and Trivia Crack.
Playables currently offers over 75 games with the ability to save progress.
The Playables section is available in the browser on PC and on the YouTube mobile app on iOS and Android.
Google warns that Playables is being launched gradually around the world and the option is not available in all regions right now.
