Realme GT 7 Pro could be the world's first smartphone to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset
Realme is gearing up to launch its new flagship smartphone GT 7 Pro, which, according to a Realme vice president, will be launched in the Indian market later this year and will be part of the company's strategy to sell one model in both China and the global market.
Here's What We Know
According to whistleblower Digital Chat Station, the Realme GT 7 Pro will feature the upcoming flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, making it the first smartphone with this processor available globally.
The new processor is rumoured to promise a significant performance boost with a peak clock speed of up to 4.26GHz. Qualcomm will reportedly unveil the SD8G4 chip in October and this means that the GT 7 Pro could debut in India in the last quarter of this year.
Meanwhile, the brand is also gearing up to launch the Realme GT 6 in the global market. The handset is expected to arrive in July and will have similar specs to the China-exclusive Realme GT Neo 6. This means that the device is likely to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with several artificial intelligence-driven features. The GT 6 is expected to delight users with a 1.5k resolution OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, along with LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage and a 50-megapixel main camera.
