Samsung starts rolling out Galaxy S20 FE update in different regions of the world

Samsung has released security updates for its popular Galaxy S20 FE smartphone in various regions of the world. Last week, the company released a security patch for a blocked carrier in the US. Now, this innovation has become available for the SM-G780G model in Europe, North and South America, the UK, the Middle East, and some regions of Asia.

Here's What We Know

The firmware update brings the version up to G780GXXSAEXE5 and includes security patches from May 2024.

Samsung also recently released One UI 6.1 for other smartphones and tablets, which brings many new features, including Galaxy AI. The Galaxy S20 FE will not receive this update, as the company has already provided three new versions of the OS as promised at its launch. To take advantage of Galaxy AI, users will have to upgrade to newer models, such as the Galaxy S23 FE.
