The atmospheric Silent Hill 2 Remake trailer revealed the release date and revealed the big news: the updated horror game will release simultaneously on PS5 and PC

At the State of Play show, Sony, Konami and Bloober Team unveiled a new trailer for the remake of cult horror game Silent Hill 2.

Here's What We Know

The video focuses on the meeting between the protagonist James Sunderland and a girl named Angela, who is one of the central characters of the game.

As in the original game, in Silent Hill 2 Remake James sees Angela for the first time in a gloomy cemetery shrouded in fog, and the girl herself behaves nervously and unnaturally. Footage of other atmospheric scenes of the updated game is also shown.

Note that the shown shots look better than what was shown at the February State of Play, but still not perfect. The biggest questions arise to the quality of facial animation of heroes. Perhaps, this element of the game will be improved by the release.

Silent Hill 2 Remake release date was revealed - 8th of October. An unexpected surprise was the message that the game will be released simultaneously on PS5 and PC, although earlier it was announced that it will be a temporary exclusive for the Japanese console.
