Google allows you to edit RCS messages

Message editing in chat apps has been a standard for years now, and finally this feature is available to RCS users. After Instagram, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp introduced this feature, Google has now followed suit.

Here's What We Know

The new option allows you to edit messages that were sent within the last 15 minutes. The recipient can see the original by tapping and holding the message. However, all participants in the conversation must have this feature enabled to use it.

It's important to note that this change only applies to RCS messages, and it is not possible to edit SMS messages.

Additional innovations include a more convenient way to control your Google Home devices, payment with your Wear OS watch using PayPal in Germany and the US, expanded support for digital car keys, and more.
