The iPhone 5s has become an "obsolete" product: Apple will no longer offer repair or service

Apple has now declared the iPhone 5s to be a deprecated product worldwide. This means that Apple Stores and Apple Authorised Service Providers will no longer offer repairs or other hardware support for the device.

Here's What We Know

The iPhone 5s was released in September 2013 and was the first iPhone with Touch ID fingerprint sensor and 64-bit A7 chip.

Further changes relate to the availability of support for the sixth-generation iPod touch and the 21.5-inch iMac with Retina 4K display from late 2015, which are now also classified as vintage products. Repairs and service for them will be available at Apple Stores and service centres for another two years.
