On the outside of these cases, you can see that the cutout for the iPhone 16 Pro's camera island is significantly larger than that of the iPhone 15 Pro. The main camera is expected to have a larger 1/1.14-inch sensor instead of the previous 1/1.28-inch. In addition, the ultra-wide and telephoto cameras will also get improvements.
The ultra-wide camera will be upgraded from a 12-megapixel sensor to a 48-megapixel Sony IMX903. The iPhone 16 Pro's telephoto lens will also get improvements.
The device itself will become larger, with the display diagonal increasing from 6.1 inches to 6.3. All upcoming iPhones will also get a capture button, which will be a novelty for the company's phones. The iPhone 16 series is expected to be unveiled in September this year.
