Take-Two CEO in an interview did not say anything about the release of GTA 6 for PC, but hinted at the possible development of GTA 7
As we know, Grand Theft Auto 6 game should be released in a year and there is still nothing about its PC-version. But in spite of this, the head of Take-Two already hints about the sequel of GTA 6.
Here's What We Know
In the world of gaming industry there is a new interview with the head of Take-Two (parent company of Rockstar), Strauss Zelnick, which sheds light on the future of the legendary series Grand Theft Auto. During a conversation at TD Cowen's annual technology conference, Zelnick shared his thoughts on the upcoming GTA 6 and even mentioned GTA 7, which apparently won't be released for years to come.
Zelnick confirmed that the previous game in the series, GTA V, did generate a staggering amount of revenue and noted that the world has changed significantly since its launch. He emphasised that GTA V was a true outlier, becoming the highest-grossing entertainment product of all time. The announcement of the trailer of the new Grand Theft Auto 6 caused quite a furore on the internet, gathering 93 million views in just 24 hours.
However, the question of a PC version of GTA 6 remains open. Zelnick was careful to note that the lack of an announcement does not mean a final decision and that Rockstar, which has historically favoured covering all platforms, will make appropriate announcements in due course.
One intriguing moment was the mention of GTA 7. Despite the fact that GTA 6 has yet to be released, Zelnick jokingly touched on the topic of the next game, suggesting that some aspects are already in development.
This interview has sparked a wave of discussion among fans and analysts who are eagerly awaiting new details about GTA 6 and possibly the first mentions of GTA 7.
