Insider: Shōgun series star Hiroyuki Sanada will play a central role in the film adaptation of samurai action series Ghost of Tsushima
About the production of a full-length film based on the famous video game Ghost of Tsushima has not received any news for a long time.
Not only the release date of the film remains unknown, but also who will play the main roles.
But perhaps insider Daniel Richtman revealed the identity of one of the actors.
Here's What We Know
Richtman revealed on his Patreon page that Hiroyuki Sanada, star of the historical series Shōgun, is in talks to star in Ghost of Tsushima.
The insider did not specify what role Sanada is applying for, but since he is not suitable for the main character's age, the ideal role for him would be the protagonist's uncle Lord Shimura.
Since Hiroyuki Sanada did a great job as the feudal lord Yoshii Toranaga in Shogun, there's no doubt that he'll be a great addition to Ghost of Tsushima.
