YouTube is testing new features for Shorts using artificial intelligence
YouTube continues to add new experimental features as it expands its artificial intelligence capabilities. After launching Dream Track, a set of experimental tools for creating unique music in Shorts, YouTube has introduced another feature, Dream Screen.
Here's What We Know
Last month, YouTube introduced the ability to add instrumental soundtracks created by artificial intelligence using Dream Track for Shorts. The first version of Dream Track allowed users to create soundtracks using artificial intelligence-generated voices based on artists who agreed to participate in a test.
Starting this week, a limited number of creators on YouTube will be able to test another experimental feature related to Dream Track - Dream Screen. It uses artificial intelligence to create green screens with images for Shorts. Authors already included in the experimental group can familiarise themselves with the new feature by following YouTube's instructions. To use the feature, simply enter an idea into the tool to generate new images for inclusion in Shorts.
Although Dream Screen is only available to a small number of Shorts creators, YouTube promises to open up the feature to more creators by the end of this year.
