Without GTA 6, Hollow Knight: Silksong and Judas: the organiser of Summer Game Fest told what shows you should not expect at the show

In just a few days the grand opening ceremony of Summer Game Fest, one of the biggest game festivals of the year, will take place.

The audience will be treated to a two-hour colourful show where The 55 companies that will be attending Summer Game Fest are already known. The show will be attended by Sony, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, Capcom, Epic Games and SEGA their games, including Sony, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, WB Games, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Deep Silver, Epic Games, Focus Entertainment, Nexon, Amazon Games, Annapurna Interactive and SEGA.

Summer Game Fest 2024 will feature a huge number of cool trailers and flashy announcements, but host and show organiser Geoff Keighley is asking for expectations to be tempered as not everything gamers want will be shown.

Here's What We Know

Unfortunately, at Summer Game Fest 2024 gamers will not see a trailer for GTA 6, arguably the most anticipated game of our time.

Neither should we expect to see Hollow Knight: Silksong - although in this case Keeley doesn't state it categorically, leaving room for fantasy.

Famous gemdesigner Ken Levine - the author of Bioshock - will not present materials of his ambitious game Judas at the show.

Itwas recently rumoured that Konami would soon open pre-orders and unveil a new Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater trailer, but if they do, it won't be at Summer Game Fest.

Square Enix, if they attend the show, will definitely not present Kingdom Hearts 4 trailer.

Telltale Studios is not ready to show the public new material of the long-awaited dystopian adventure The Wolf Among Us 2.

Most likely Nintendo will ignore the first summer show, so we should not expect any games from the Japanese company.

Geoff Keighley's "co-host", the famous game designer Josef Fares, author of It Takes Two, A Way Out, won't be at the show either. However, Keeley hints that his Hazelight studio has something to show, especially since the developer has previously hinted at some sort of cool announcement.

It may sound ironic, but Summer Game Fest 2024 will also not feature Beyond Good and Evil 2, the game that holds the laurels of being the longest in development in the industry's history. Ubisoft has been working on this game for more than 16 years and even received a mark from the Guinness Book of World Records. And the ironic thing is that the game is still in the early stages of production.
