Starting from 11 July, Twitch raises subscription prices: the company wants streamers to earn more money

Inflation affects everyone, and the most popular live streaming platform Twitch is no exception. As early as July, the subscription price will increase several times.

Here's What We Know

Starting 11 July, subscription and gift prices will increase in more than 30 countries. Among the countries that will be affected are Canada, New Zealand, the United States and most European countries.

While a subscription in the US currently costs $5, it will increase by 20% to $6 from 11 July.

The company also announced that streamers will continue to earn according to their share of revenue (50-70% depending on the current level of the Plus programme). Thanks to this price increase, streamers will earn more money.
