Here's What We Know
As previously announced, The Acolyte is aimed primarily at children and teen audiences.
The events of the series will unfold a hundred years before the first episode of the film saga in the heyday of the Galactic Republic and the absence of military conflicts. At some point begins a wave of contract killings of Jedi and the main characters need to sort out who wants to kill the guardians of peace and tranquility of the Galaxy.
As many expected, The Acolyte received average ratings: on Metacritic the series has 69 points from critics and 3.2 points from viewers, on Rotten Tomatoes it has 88% and 48% respectively.
Two episodes of The Acolyte are already available on the Disney+ streaming service, and the remaining episodes of the series will be released once a week. Viewers can expect a total of 8 episodes.
