Samsung updates Galaxy A52 with May's security improvements
Samsung had a busy last month with updates to its smartphones. The company updated many smartphones to the new Galaxy One UI 6.1 firmware and also did not forget about improving the security of its smartphones. That's why some smartphones are receiving the security patch for May belatedly and the Galaxy A52 is among them.

The new software update for the Galaxy A52 has started rolling out in the Russian region. It comes with firmware version A525FXXS7FXE2 and includes the May 2024 security patch, which fixes around 45 security vulnerabilities found in previous software versions. This is a minor update that only includes security patches.
Samsung released the Galaxy A52 in early 2021 with Android 11 on board. It received the One UI 4.0 update to Android 12 in late 2021, the One UI 5.0 update to Android 13 in late 2022, and the One UI 6.0 update to Android 14 in late 2023. The next version of Android 15 will no longer be available for this model.
