Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3: a chip for low-cost devices with 5G and cameras up to 108 MP

Qualcomm unexpectedly revealed a new processor for low-cost devices.
What is known
We are talking about the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chip. The novelty is built on a 6-nanometre process and boasts Kryo cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.3 GHz. The processor gets an integrated Snapdragon X51 5G modem, as well as support for WiFi 5, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage and Quick Charge 4+ fast charging technology.
The Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 comes with a triple 12-bit ISP module. With it, smartphones based on the new SoC will support cameras up to 108 MP and video recording up to 1080p at 60fps.
When We Can Expect It
The first gadgets with Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor will appear on the market in the near future.
