Hell is getting crowded: the Diablo franchise has attracted over 100 million players

Diablo is widely regarded as one of the most popular, famous and iconic gaming franchises. The first instalment of the series was released in 1996 and since then every Diablo game has attracted huge attention of gamers.

Here's What We Know

As the years go by, the franchise is only getting more popular. Blizzard reported that all parts of Diablo, including the fourth, which was released exactly one year ago, attracted more than 100 million players.

Please note that this figure does not reflect the number of copies sold, as various parts of Diablo were given away in all sorts of promotions, and Diablo IV recently became available on the Xbox Game Pass service, where it caused a real furore.

Blizzard does not hide its far-reaching plans for the development of the Sanctuary universe, so there is no doubt that Diablo has a long life ahead of it.

The developers thank gamers for joining in the extermination of the demon hordes.
