A breath of fresh air in online shooters: the release of an early version of Bodycam's photorealistic game has taken place

The release of the early version of the unusual ultra-realistic network shooter Bodycam took place.

Here's What We Know

The name of the game fully reflects its essence: all gameplay in the game is stylised as a chronicle from the body camera of special forces fighters.

Photorealistic graphics is provided by Unreal Engine 5, but to run Bodycam you need a powerful computer.

In the early version of the shooter three modes are available: classic Deathmatch (for 10 players), Team Deathmatch (5 on 5) and Body Bomb (5 on 5). Players can use several weapons, including shotguns, submachine guns, assault rifles, grenades (including stun grenades) and even drones.

Notably, the Reissad studio that created the game consists of only two people! The developers promise that they will take into account the wishes and comments of the players, make appropriate fixes and gradually develop the shooter.

We expect Bodycam to be in Early Access for a few years, depending on community feedback and improvements we want to make. The final version will be significantly different from the Early Access version, we will add many new features and additions that will make the game even more exciting.

Flashback

Bodycam in many ways repeats the concept of another project - Unrecord, which in 2023 caused a lot of discussion, amazed with its realism and left a lot of questions. Unlike the story-driven single-player game Unrecord, Bodycam is more of an online shooter, but with an unusual concept that may well change the long-standing foundations of the genre.
