A performance test of the global Oppo Reno12 Pro in Geekbench has revealed that the chipset will be different from the Chinese version of the smartphone

Oppo is preparing for the global launch of its new Reno12 series of smartphones. It is reported that the first performance results of the Reno12 Pro model have appeared in the Geekbench database.

Here's What We Know

According to the Geekbench database, the global version of the Reno12 Pro (model CPH2629) will be equipped with a Dimensity 7300 chipset. This processor includes four cores clocked at 2.5 GHz and another four cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. Mali-G615 is chosen as the graphics processor. The smartphone will get 12GB of RAM and will run Android 14 operating system.

As for the differences between the Chinese versions of the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro and their global counterparts, it is rumoured that the global version of the Reno12 Pro will use a Dimensity 7300 chipset, instead of the Dimensity 9200+ in the Chinese one. Also, the global Reno12 Pro will feature a 50-megapixel IMX882 (LYT-600) sensor instead of the 50-megapixel IMX890 sensor found in the Chinese model.

The global version of the Reno12 will also get a Dimensity 7300 chipset instead of the Dimensity 8250 used in the Chinese version and will feature a 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP triple camera instead of the 50 MP + 8 MP + 50 MP configuration found in the Chinese Reno12.
