Funcom Studios has unveiled an atmospheric story trailer for the ambitious survival simulator Dune: Awakening

Publisher Funcom presented a story trailer of the ambitious survival simulator Dune: Awakening.

Here's What We Know

The trailer is dedicated to the visions of Paul Atreides, a member of one of the most powerful Houses on the planet Arrakis.

The character talks about the fate that befell his family and thinks about what he needs to do to avoid repeating their fate.

The trailer perfectly demonstrates the harsh conditions on the desert planet.

The game is being developed based on the novels by Franklin P. Herbert and their film adaptations, including the acclaimed Denis Villeneuve films. The developers promise to keep all the key features of the franchise and competently expand them without crossing the line.

The project is being created on Unreal Engine 5.2 with the financial support of Tencent Corporation. The release date of Dune: Awakening has not been announced yet. The game is being developed on PC, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.

Funcom will hold a special presentation of the game on 20 June, where it will reveal more details about it.
