The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 camera unit will remain the same as its predecessors Fold 5 and Fold 4
Samsung fans expecting camera improvements in the upcoming Galaxy Fold 6 may be left disappointed. According to a leak from reliable insider Ice Universe, the Fold 6's cameras will be identical to the Fold 5's, which in turn hasn't changed since the release of the Fold 4.
Here's What We Know
Ice Universe reports that "all camera specs, including the front camera, rear camera, UPC [under-screen sensor] and aperture value, remain exactly the same, unchanged."

All its camera specifications, including front camera, rear camera, UPC and aperture value, are exactly the same, and there is no change.
Exactly like Fold4 and Fold5.
This means that the Fold 6 will feature the same 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 123-degree viewing angle. The prime and telephoto lens will likely continue to support optical image stabilisation (OIS).
Samsung's pace of innovation in foldable phones has been slow in recent years, while Chinese brands like Honor, Vivo and Oppo have been steadily pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Samsung, on the other hand, is limited to a minimal list of updates, offering expected hardware improvements such as a new processor.
This year, however, could see a noticeable change in the Fold 6's design. Rumour has it that Samsung plans to offer a wider outer screen to make it look more like a regular phone when closed, as well as a slightly altered overall smartphone design. Other than that, no more major changes or updates are expected in the upcoming foldable device for now.
