ViewSonic has introduced a new 24-inch gaming monitor with 280Hz refresh rate and 5ms response time

ViewSonic has unveiled a new XG2536 monitor designed specifically for fans of first-person shooters and fast-paced games.

The monitor features a 24-inch IPS panel with a 280Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution to ensure smooth visuals during competitive gaming. The display has a brightness of 300 nits, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, and a response time of 5ms. The XG2536 also features good colour reproduction with 8-bit colour depth and coverage of 99% sRGB and 98% NTSC colour space.

For ease of use, the monitor stand offers a wide range of adjustments including tilt, swivel, horizontal and vertical movement. The model also comes with two 2W speakers for basic audio needs, external backlighting on the rear panel and supports VESA wall mount. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, a USB-C 3.2 port with 65W Power Delivery for laptop charging and a standard 3.5mm audio jack.

The price of the novelty is about 290 US dollars. The official launch date is still unknown.
