Blizzard has released a new trailer for World of Warcraft: The War Within, in which the DLC release date was announced - 26 August

Blizzard has announced that the next major expansion for World of Warcraft, The War Within, will be released on 26 August. However, players who purchase the Epic Edition will get early access to the expansion earlier, on 22 August.

Here's What We Know

The War Within marks the beginning of the Worldsoul Saga trilogy. Although the expansion will launch on 26 August, the first season of content will begin on 10 September and will include a raid in which players will fight non-Rubian troops in Azj-Kahet.

The expansion is currently in beta and is available through the epic edition of The War Within. This edition also includes an Algarian Stormtrooper and the Stormtrooper Outfit Pack.

The War Within storyline will continue the events of Dragonflight, allowing players to reach a new maximum level of 80.
