Xiaomi 15 Pro camera specs leaked in a new leak

Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its new flagship Xiaomi 15 range in the month of October. But already now there are some leaks about the upcoming novelties and here comes another information about the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Pro model, namely the camera specifications of the device have been revealed.

Here's What We Know

According to Chinese sources, Xiaomi 15 Pro will be equipped with a triple camera, each of which has a resolution of 50 megapixels. A one-inch OmniVision OV50K main sensor, a Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and an ultra-wide-angle lens promise to significantly improve the quality of photos.

Compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Pro, the new model offers an improved telephoto sensor which, despite a slightly lower resolution, should be more power efficient. In addition, the Sony IMX882 supposedly outperforms the Samsung JN1 sensor used in the Xiaomi 14 Pro, offering better zoom performance.

The interesting point is that Xiaomi will continue to collaborate with the renowned Leica, which will no doubt improve the quality of the camera. The new Xiaomi 15 series smartphones are expected to get the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and will be unveiled in October, primarily for the Chinese market.
