Samsung has started rolling out the June security update for the Galaxy S24 and S23 line of flagships in the US

Samsung is starting to roll out the latest June security update and first in line are the Galaxy S24 and S23 series smartphones.

Here's What We Know

The update is currently available in the US for S24 and S23 smartphones used on carrier Verizon's network, as well as some models from carrier T-Mobile. The update is expected to be available soon for unlocked models in the US, as well as for the Galaxy S24 and S23 lineup in other regions.

The update with build numbers S92xUSQS2AXE4 for the Galaxy S24 and S91xUSQS3CXE3 for the Galaxy S23 has a download size of 436MB and addresses 59 vulnerabilities, 37 of which are from Google and 22 from Samsung. The update for US users reportedly contains only a security patch without any other improvements.

You can check for the update on Galaxy smartphones by going to Settings, then Software Update and click Download and Install.
