Activision clarifies: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 does not need 300GB of free space - it's the amount needed to install a bundle with three more games in the series
The other day the media spread information that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will require more than 300 GB of free space.
This figure surprised many gamers, because at the moment games bigger than 150 GB are rarely released.
As it turned out, this data is not quite true.
Here's What We Know
Activision explained that the mentioned 309.85 GB will occupy the total package, which will include not only Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but also Modern Warfare 2, Modern Warfare 3, Warzone and all related content additions, including available localisation options.
In addition, the developer emphasised that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 can be installed without the aforementioned games, so the new game will actually take up a standard 100-150 GB.
Activision will announce the exact size of the game closer to its release.
