Ubisoft revealed important details about the first season of the conditionally free online shooter XDefiant.

The first season will start on the 2nd of July and in it the developers will add three types of weapons and the usual for online shooters mode "Capture the Flag".

In addition, the developers will add one new map every month, which were named Clubhouse, Daytona and Rockefeller.

In the first season there will be a full-fledged progression system that rewards players for improving their skills and constant participation in XDefiant matches.

But the main innovation will be the appearance of another faction in the game - GSK, known from Rainbow Six.

Ubisoft will reveal more details about XDefiant's innovations on the eve of the start of the first season - on the 1st of July.
