Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro headphones have passed BIS certification, which means they will launch soon
Samsung is gearing up for a massive Galaxy Unpacked event that will take place on 10 July 2024. At the event, the company is expected to unveil a range of devices including the Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 smartphones, the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch FE smartwatches, as well as the new Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro TWS headphones, which recently passed BIS certification.
Here's What We Know
Ahead of the launch, Samsung is getting its devices certified by various bodies, including the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which is a prerequisite for products to enter the Indian market. The company recently received BIS certification for the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro, which have model numbers SM-R530 and SM-R630 respectively. This means that the new products will be unveiled soon.
According to leaks, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will get a design reminiscent of Apple AirPods and will also feature the innovative Blade Lights feature. The new product is expected to get a dual-driver audio design, Bluetooth v5.4 support, 24-bit 96KHz audio transmission, ANC adaptive noise cancellation, adaptive equaliser, surround sound mode, up to 30 hours of battery life and IP57 protection.
The Galaxy Buds 3 will come with all of the above features except Blade Lights, dual-driver design, adaptive EQ and surround sound mode. By all indications, Samsung's upcoming wireless headphones will be a significant upgrade over the previous Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro models.
