Konami has greatly improved the sound quality of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, and the remake's graphics are comparable to those of MGS5
In a new episode of the Official Xbox Podcast, Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater producer Noriaki Okamura shared important details about the remake of the 2005 cult stealth action game.
Here's What We Know
The producer stressed that the design of characters and locations has not undergone significant changes, but became more detailed and in general the game is not inferior to Metal Gear Solid 5 in terms of graphics quality, and in some parameters it is superior to it.
Konami left unchanged the plot, narration and original character lines, but it was decided to re-record some dialogues, because for the past 20 years technical limitations have disappeared and developers can freely improve the sound quality.
The game will offer a choice between the original two-channel sound and modern 7.1 surround sound. The same goes for graphics and camera angles: Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater can be played as the original game or as a modern stealth action game with a third-person view and easy aiming.
The podcast also showed some new footage of Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater. Okamura also reminded that the game is a prequel to the events of the other MGS instalments and is about becoming Big Boss.
When We Can Expect It
Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater release date is not yet known.
The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
