After Summer Game Fest and Xbox Games Showcase, the media wrote most about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
The summer of 2024 started in the industry with high-profile presentations such as Summer Game Fest and Xbox Games Showcase, but which of the games shown were the most talked about in the media?

GamesIndustry.biz shared the statistics created by Fancensus. A total of approximately 3,000 websites were analysed that wrote about the presentations within 24 hours of their start.
The Xbox Games Showcase was of great interest to the media, as the first 5 games were presented at this exhibition, and three more were in the top ten.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was the biggest success. It was followed by Doom: The Dark Ages, Gears of War: E-Day, Avowed, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Summer Game Fest was weaker in terms of the number of big names (with the exception of Lego Horizon Adventures and a few others). It is also interesting that 17 out of 20 games included in the ranking belong to existing franchises.
