Samsung has re-released the Galaxy Watch 4, it's now the Galaxy Watch FE
Samsung has decided not to wait for the summer Galaxy Unpacked presentation and has launched the Galaxy Watch FE smartwatch.
Here's What We Know
As expected, the novelty is a copy of the Galaxy Watch 4, which debuted in 2021. Except for the glass. Instead of Gorilla Glass DX+, the Galaxy Watch FE received sapphire crystal glass. Also, the device is only available with an aluminium case at 40mm. There is no 44mm version available.
The Galaxy Watch FE has a 1.2-inch round Super AMOLED display, proprietary Exynos W920 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, BioActive sensor for heart rate and ECG detection, and a host of sports modes. The watch runs on the Wear OS operating system. The Galaxy Watch FE boasts of IP68 and MIL-STD-810G certification. The device has Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales of the Galaxy Watch FE will start on June 24 in three colours: black, pink and silver. The watch will be priced at $199. An LTE version of the device will hit the market in October with a price tag of $249.
