The developers of Strange: Double Exposure developers have shown some gameplay footage and provided details about the game
Deck Nine Games shared new details about Life is Strange: Double Exposure and showed new gameplay footage. In the story, Max Caulfield, the protagonist of the first game, grew up to become a professor at Caledonian University. A few months after she settles in, her best friend Safi is mysteriously murdered.
Here's What We Know
When Max tries to use her ability to rewind time, she opens a portal to an alternate timeline where Safi is still alive. With the killer still at large, her rescue becomes a race against time. A live stream of the reveal confirms that Rewind is not available. Instead, Max can move between timelines, finding clues about suspects and eavesdropping on events.
Events in one timeline can affect the other, creating potential puzzles that need to be solved using this method. Max can get confused between the timelines, so the player needs to be vigilant and mindful of the differences to avoid awkward situations.
Where To Play
After the release, Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC.
When We Can Expect It
The game is scheduled for release on the 29th of October this year.
